Festival.

Three of Brenda's paintings selected for the 4th Annual
Exhibition "Treasures by Aboriginal Artists at
Gallery Streetsville.
JUNE 2007 DEBUT
Brenda MacIntyre was one of several emerging artists
whose art was displayed at Toronto City Hall as part
of National Aboriginal Day 2007.
NOVEMBER 2006
Native Women's Resource Centre had been offering free
art classes since November 2006, with talented instructor
and artist Monica Bodirsky.
Brenda MacIntyre created her first paintings on canvas
in this art class.
Bodirsky encouraged creative freedom and self-expression,
while giving instruction to individuals when needed.
In part because of Monica's subtle, intuitive approach,
the art class became a haven for many women and girls.
"I never knew I could paint!" is a familiar
phrase heard in the art class.
